The component invniv*d is the auxilisry shistdown cabinct.

g The auxiJiary ahutdown cabiner was snippliud by Wolfe 6 Mann and Inulalled by Tlachbach & Moore /colgan Electric.

~ The dutucL involved is that the cabinct has not been anchored by external gumwets as called for by thu applicabic installation drawing.

Thlw condition unr. discovered through the review of docunentation turnover packages. The safety hazard which could be cra.1 tad by this defcet is, if the cabinct installation tailed during a seismic event. it could become 1 impossible to provida auxiliary fccdvater flow. There is one auxiliary shutdown cabinar containing this defect at Davis-Desse Un1L No. 1.

J On March 10, 1978, tha deviation was evaluatud by Toledo Edison to be a defcet. Thf s t1acter was reported to your Mr. R. Knop on March 10, 1978.

l The corrective acelun co be taken is to add the Russets per the drawing.

We will complete this installation prior to startup following the planned April 1978 outage.
