Enclosed for your infomation is the subject licensee's most recent submittal to NRR regarding the subject code requirements.
Discussions with !;RR personnel revealed that the nroposed surveillance progran is inadequate and that additional infomation will have to be submitted by the licensee to teet the guidance described in Enclosure 2.
The forth-coming infomation should resolve the questions raised in your memorandum.
It should be noted that the licensee may be granted an exemption from certain of the requirements. However, these will have to be requested by the licensee and be approved by NRR.
We recogni::e that this does not resolve your innediate problem. As a result, we have requested L. B. Engle, MRR, to foniard copies of all updated infomation to you on an expedited basis. We suggest in this case you deal directly with Mr. Engle, If the specified additional infomation is not ferthecming or if you wish to discuss this matter further, please contact me.
