RESCLUTION OF GPE 1 ITEMS RE"Alill:.G Itl T!iE DAVIS-BESSE, tilIT 1 DRAFT SER At our forthcoming site visit to the Davis-Besse lJuclear Power Station, Unit 1 on October 6, 7, and 3, our plans call for first addressing the open items as presently stated in Section 7, Instrumentation and Controls, of the draft Davis-E~:sc 1 SER. The applicant has been contacted and is ready to discuss Dese open items with tne staff on Wednesday, October 6,1976.
After tne site visit to Davis-Besse 1 is concluded, it is f amer 3tive that a new SER update be provided by Octoner 15, 1976, which ircludes any resolution of a::en itcas obtained at the site visit. The new SE7 update should also include recent revisions to the PSaR (Amencnents 23 tnrough 37), which may interface uitn open itens for instrumentation and controls.
The October 15, 1976 date for the revised SER incut (Section 7) is required to reduce the nucher of open items and allow the revised SER input to be incorporated in the Davis-3 esse, Unit 1 SER scheduled for issuance on iiovember 5, 1976.
