ACRS SUBCOMMITTEE FOR DAVIS-BESSE (DOCKET NO. 50-346)
On March 26, 1970 Jim Hard (ACRS Staff) indicatk to me that the Davis-Besea Siibcommittee chairman (Dr. Siess) plans on recomunending to the full Ceumaittee at the April meeting the following courses of action:
1.
General a.
Within one week prior to the final ACRS Subcomunittee meeting, all DRL consultants' reports and the DRL report must be submitted to the Consnittee.
Without the reports, the Subcommittee meeting may be cancelled.
In any case, if the reports are not sub-mitted within three days, then the meeting vill be
)
cancelled.
b.
The Subconsnittee chairman will not recommend that the project be taken for the full Comunittee's considera-tion until all unresolved items are documented by the applicant and DRL has reviewed the information. Thus, the unresolved items of both sides of issues must be documented by the applicant and by DRL.
c.
All reports :2ust be in to the ACRS two weeks prior to the full Committee meeting.
2.
Site Visit a.
A repcrt will not be necessary for a site visit; however, Jim Hard indicated that it would be desirable to have a list of site-related problems for the review of the Subecamaittee at the time of the site visit.
b.
In the event that a list is not available, the site visit could take place; however, the applicant should be prepared to brief the Subecessittee on what be plass to show and state why he is doing this. The applicant should also have hand-outs of the presentation available for the Subcommittee.
