Dear Mr. Rusche:
Under separate cover, we are transmitting Amendment No. 35 to the Application for Licenses for the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station Unit 1. This Amendment consists of Revision No.19 to the Final Safety Analysis Report (FSAR). Three (3) original and twenty-five (25) conformed copies of the transmittal sheet are included together with seventy (70) copies of Revision 19 to the FSAR.
This revision consists of minor miscellaneous changes required for consistency or to correct minor errors.
Chapter 16 containing the technical specifications which had been proposed pursuant to 10 CFR 50.34(b)(6)(vi) and 10 CFR 50.36 has been removed as part of FSAR Revision 19. The Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station Unit 1 Technical Specifications are being rewritten to follow the format of the B&W Standardized Technical Specifications.
Since there is no evidence that the originally proposed technical specifications are currently being reviewed by the NRC the Applicant has not attempted to keep Chapter 16 current.
Therefore, to prevent the possibility of incorrect or conflicting information remammg in the FSAR, Chapter 16 has been deleted.
Also included as part of this Amendment is the submittal of mree (3) copies of new and revised detailed EI&C drawings.
