This letter provides SQN's response to NRC Bulletin 88-10, Supplement 1.

The initial review performed by SQN was in accordance with the seven NRC positions j

specified in Supplement 1.

i However, further review has identified several additional molded-case circuit breakers procured for maintenance activities and plant. modifications. An i

incident investigation is ongoing at SQN, and the problem has been discussed

with NRC's project manager for SQN. When the investigation is confleted, a revised submittal will be provided.

1 As required by the original bulletin, future procurement of molded-case circuit breakers for Class 1E applications will be traceable to the circuit breaker taanufacturer. Records associated with the NRC Bulletin 88-10 review j

will be maintained for a period of five years.

No commitments are contained in this submittal.
