, Enclosure Special Report No.89-004, Unit 1 Steam Generator Tube Plugging The following steam generator tube plugging report is being submitted in accordance with Technical Specification 4.4.6.5.a.

During the current Unit 1 Cycle 9 - 10 refueling outage, six tubes exceeded the pluggablo limit based on eddy current testing results. One tube was plugged in the 1A steam generator and five tubes were plugged in the IC steam generator. In addition, the eddy current indications for eighteen tubes were not quantifiable and the tubes were plugged as a precautionary measure. The eighteen tubes that vere plugged as a precautionary measure included three tubes in the 1A steam generator, two tubes in the IB steam generator, and thirteen tubes in the IC steam generator. .Thus a total of twenty-four steam generator tubes were plugged. This tube plugging was completed on October 23, 1989.

The complete results of the steam generator tube inservice inspection vill be reported in'accordance with Technical Specification 4.4.6.5.b.
