As I discussed with you.and'Juanita Ellis, CASE's president, oa October 4, 1989, I understand that, elthough both letters requested that the NR; consider escalated enforcement actions on these issues, CASE does not want the staff. to treat these letters as petitions pursuant to 10 CFR 2.206. Accordingly, we will consider the infomation you have provided in the course of any future action we may take on these issues.

In the future, any requests for enforcement action you ir.ay submit to the NRC should clearly state whether CASE wishes them considered as petitions pursuant to 10 CFR 2.206.
