IDENTIFICATION OF COMANCHE PEAK ISSUES e

'In response to your memcrandum of October 11, 1989, same subject as above, there are three issues which the Vendor Inspection Branch is aware of that may impact-Comanche Peak licensing activities. The three issues are listed below:

Borg Warner check valve internal parts, 2.

Bulletin 8810,- molded case circuit breakers, and i:

Equipment qualification For item number 1 above, there have been frequent meetings between OSP and VIB staff.and I believe we are all aware of the status and actions relevant to the Borg Warner check valve issue. A supplement was-issued to Bulletin 88-10 in August'1989 which provides. ample guidance.to allow OSP closure of item number 2 above. For the last item, VIB provided technical support to OSP-on an EQ inspection at Comanche Peak'in August 1989. Resolution of outstanding EQ issues is being handled by OSP.
