This letter is in reference to IE Bulletin 80-16, " Potential Mis-applications of Rosemount Inc., Models 1151 and 1152 Pressure Transmitters with either "A" or "D" Output Codes.
Investigation of all Rosemount transmitters installed at Calvert Cliffs revealed that, although we do have the transmitters in use, none furnish a safety-related control, protection, or indication function.
In addition, we have no future plans for either transmitter model to be used to provide safety-related functions.
