Dear Mr. Keppler:

Attached are three (3) copies of the 60-day response to the subject bulletin as requested in Items 1, 2a, and 3 of Reference (a).

This response addresses Dresden Station Units 2 and 3, Quad Cities Station Units 1 and 2, and Zion Station Units 1 and 2.

In the case of Dresden Unit 1, due to the extended outage associated with that unit (reSeduled start-up June, 1986) Commonwealth Edison has not performeo the requested investigation.

The requirements of the subject Bulletin will be met prior to the start-up of the unit.

Furthermore, Commonwealth Edison has responded to the related request for information regarding the masonry wall design for LaSalle County Units 1 and 2 made in Reference (b).

However, Commonwealth Edison intends to continue investigations into this area for LaSalle County Units 1 and 2 in order to comply with the i

full requirements of Bulletiri 80-11.

This additional work will be completed prior to unit startup and will be available for NRC review ct the site upon completion.-
