" Contamination of Nonradioactive System and Resulting Potential for Uunonitored, Uncontrolled Release of Radioactivity to Environment"
Dear Mr. Grier:
In accordance with the requirement of the subject bulletin, a review of the design and operation of Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station was performed to identify systems that are considered as nonradioactive (or described as non-radioactive in the FSAR), but could possibly become radioactive through inter-faces with radioactive systems.
Existing routine s.upling, analysis and monitoring programs were determined to be adequate to preclude any uncon-trolled or unmonitored releases to the environcent.
Specifics relative to the above statements have veen documented and are availabic for any future NRC review and inspection efforts.
We trust this letter is respot.sive to your concerns; however, should you desire additional information ylease contact us at your convenience.
Very truly yours, 1'T
