Dear Mr. Kanraorer:
I have been contacted by the above-mentioned constituent regarding questions he has concerning the Three Mile Island nuclear incident.
1.
Was there a pressure spike or explosion within the containment chamber anytime during the accident?
If so, was the s t.ress factor 39 psi?
Was hydrogen involved in the explosion?
2.
What is the design strength of containment?
GO psi has been given as a measurement - is t.h a t common to most other reactors?
Any assistance you can give me in replying to 1.he questions would be appreciated.
Please address your response to my Billings field office, 320 Securities Building, 27083 First Avenue North, Billings, Montana, 59101.
Thank you for your assistance with this matter.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
With best, personal regards, I am
