Dear Ms. Meyer:
This is in partial response to your letter dated June 3,1980 in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Informaton Act, documents pertaining to the transportation of spent nuclear fuel from Portsmouth, Virginia to the Savannah River Plant in Aiken, South Carolina.
The documents listed below are enclosed and are being placed in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR) located at 1717 H Street, N.W., Washington, DC.

As a result of a previous F0IA request (F01A-CO-145), the documents listed in the appendix have already been made available for public inspection and copying at the NRC PDR. The charge for reproducing
. records located in the PDR is eight ($0.08) cents per page, as specified in 10 CFR 9.14(a).
Copies of these documents can be purchased by writing directly to the PDR.
Upon your agreement to pay the reproduction charges, the PDR will arrange for the records to be reproduced by Potomac Research, Inc. a private reproduction contractor servicing the PDR.
You will be billed by Potomac Research, Inc. for the reproduction charges, plus tax and postage.
The NRC has not completed its review of the remaining documents subject to your request. Wa will respond as soon as the review is completed.
