ATOMIC ENERGY COMMISSION ARKANSAS POWER AND LIGHT COMPAhT (Arkansas Nuclear One, Unit 1) DOCKET No. 50-313 ORDER EXTENDING CONSTRUCTION PERMIT COMPLETION DATE By application dated June 1, 1972, Arkansas Power and Light Company requested an extension of the latest completion date specified in Construction Permit No. CPPR-57. The permit authorizes the construction of a pressuria.ad water nuclear reactor designated as the Arkansas Nuclear One, Unit 1, at the applicant's site on a peninsula in Dardanelle Reservior on the Arkansas River in Pope County, Arkansas. Good cause having been shown for this extension pursuant to section 185 of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended, and Section 50.55(b) of 10 CFR Part 50 of the Commission's regulations, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED THAT the latest completion data specified in Construction Permit No. CPPR-57 is extended from July 1, 1972 to July 1, 1973.
