This Amendment No. 1 changes numerous sections of the Preliminary Safety Analysis Report, which is a part of this Application, so as to present information on changes in design which have been informally requested by the Staff of the Division of Reactor Licensing (principally 1

with respect to the emergency core cooling system and electrical systems) and to correct errors in the Preliminary Safety Analysis Report. "'his Amendment also includes a new Appendix 2-F, which presents a safety investigation 8', ,
