Basic Information The liquid radwaste system performance at Arkansas Nuclear One - Unit 1 may be summarized generally as within and per commitments delineated in Mr. D. L. Ziemann's letter to Mr.

J.'D. Phillips of December 2, 1976, l

and specifically as noted below:

1 1.

The Spent Resin Tank- (T-13) contained approximately 50 cubic feet of resin on 12/31/77.

2.

Resins were changed when DF's indicated degraded demineralizer per-formance.

l 3.

All three demineralizers were used in series to ensure releases were ALARA.

4.

No liquid shipments were made offsite after 10/19/76.

For the 1st quarter of 1978, the total curies released from ANO-1 in liquid effluents (excluding tritium and dissolved gases) was 1.506 curies.
