Dear Mr. Morris:
On October 7,1970 your office transmitted via telephone the following requests for additional information on Supplement No. 19 to the Preliminary Safety Analysis Report:

" Explain in detail what grcup of hoep bars is carrying the bursting force of dcue tendons acting in the hoop direction and what group of vertical bars is carrying the bursting force acting in the vertical direction.
Indicate separately, the magnitude of the hocp bursting force and of the vcrtical burs bing force of the dome tendon and the method used for the ccmputation of these values. Indicate the stresses due to the bursting force separately for hcop reinfercement and vertical rcinforec-ment. Furnish the same information for the vertical ten-dons. Separate clearly the different groups of bars carrying different bursting forces."
In response to the above requests, we subnit the information en the attached Pages 5-F-29, 5-F-30 and 5-P-31.
