Gentlemen:
Various NRC regulations (e.g. 100FR 50.30 (b)) require that applications for licenses and certain other documents be signed by the " applicant or duly authorized officer thereof."
Pursuant to those requirements, Arkansas Power
& Light Company, wishes to designate Mr. William cavanaugh III, Executive Director of Generation and Constructio. as the duly authorized officer of the Company in such matters.
Due to a recent reorganization, the Power Production De-partment has been renamed the Generation and construction l
Department which department now reports to the President of the Company.
Therefore, please also change the addressee on all correspondence to Arkansas Power & Light to Mr.
William Cavanaugh III and discontinue sending said corre-spondence to Mr. J. D.
Phillips.
