C. 20555 N Subj ect: Arkansas Power 6 Light Company Arkansas Nuclear One-Unit 1 Docket No. 50-313 License No. DPR-51 Proposed Technical Specification Changes Gentlemen: My letter of December 22, 1975, transmitted to you a copy of Babcock 6 Wilcox's proprietary calculation which was the basis for our proposed technical specification change concerning the Reactor Building Spray tanks level and chemical concentration limits, as was submitted to you on October 7,1975. Your letter of January 30, 1976, requested that we submit to you a non-proprietary version of this calculation to be placed in the public document room pursuant to Section 2.790 of 10 CFR Part 2. Enclosed find forty (40) copies of the af'orementioned non-proprietary document. Those portions of the calculation which have been designated as proprietary have been marked as such and deleted. This information has been classified as proprietary as it is not found in literature and use by a competitor would substantially decrease his expenditures, in time and resources, in performing a similar design calculation. We reaffirm our position that that calculation as submitted on December 22, 1975, is proprietary and, pursuant to Section 2.790, 10 CFR Part 2, it is requested that this information be withheld from public disclosure.
