3.14 IlYDR0 GEN PURCE SYSTEM Applicability i

Applies to the operating status of the hydrogen purge system.

l Objective To ensure that the hydrogen purge system will perfom within acceptable lavcis of efficiency and reliability.

Specification 3.14.1 Two independent circuits of the hydrogen purge system shall be operabic whenever reactor building integrity is required with the following perfomance capabilities:

a.

c.

Fans shall be shown to operate within 10*4 design flow.

d.

The pressure drcp across the combined HEPA filters and charcoal adsorber banks shall be less than 16 inches of water at system design flow rate (; 10's).

Each system inlet heater shall be shown to operate at rated e.

power.

f.

Hydrogen concentration instruments shall be operable.

If t' e requirerents of S;:ecification 3.14.1 cannot be met, 3.14.2 h
