Gentlemen:
Our letter of September 30, 1976, committed us to convert our present Arkansas Nuclear One-Unit 1 (ANO-1) Technical Specifications to the Standard Technical Specifications (STS) format for BSW reactors.
By letter dated December 21, 1977, we submitted marked up pages of B5W-STS (pages 1-1 through 3/4 5.7) for your review. We hereby submit the re-maining marked up pages (3/4 6-1 through 5-8) of our format conversion effort as well as the corresponding index pages.
As stated in our December 21, 1977 letter, we are including marked up Bases pages for Sections 3 and 4.
We feel the bases presented here to be consistent with the applicable specifications of our earlier submittal as well as this submittal.
i It should be noted that in Bases 3/4.1.1.1 the SHUTDOWN MARGIN value has i
been marked "Later".
At this time, we are awaiting confirmation of FSAR safety analysis assumptions associated with the postulated accident.
When this confirmation is received, you will be advised accordingly.
We trust this standardization submittal will receive an expedient review along with its predecessor.
We are prepared to meet with your staff and discuss our submittal in detail at your convenience.
Please advise if
