Dear Representative Latta:
I live in the shadow of the Davis-Bosco l'uclear Power Plant (ncir un:1er construction naar Tole 'op Chio), and I'n grcrin; nore concerned every day about this plant.
Are the people of this are being as guinea pigs?
Is this plant as safe as we are being lead to believe?
In the past we have found that we have not been careful and strict encugh - wo have ruined things that can never be replaced.
Dr. Sternf ass (U. of Pittsburgh), has stated that his l
studies indicated that ;2: emissicas fron nuclear poner -lancs find their.ay into the hunan food che.in, in auch hi_her er.dio-active c:ncontrations than provicusly h-d t een thought.
If an accident would occur how nany deaths would there be?
How many ynrs would this whole region be cenpletely ruined?
Did you know that uranium h.s a " half-life" of 4 5 billion, cars and another 4 5 billion years before half cf the rc: aining uranium decays; after nine billion years only e. forth of the original block will renain?
In the light of all these cuestions, how han construction continue on this plant?
