Dear Sir:
It has come to my attention that the Atomic Energy Act of 1954 mandates that the citizens of my area be given evacuation plans for the event of a large accident in the Besse-Davis Power Plant which we have been unable to halt at this time.
The fact that this has only just come to my attention does not seem to excuse the. absence of such plans and distribution, since in order to be effective, such plans must be common knowledge well before the first possible opportunity for an accident.
If in fact, such plans have been drawn up for this region already, I would be extremely interested in having access to them.
If not, I would like to know 3
what efforts are being made to produce them.
