O ENCLOSURE I MEETING WITH TOLEDO EDISON, BECHTEL AND B&W - DAVIS-BESSE PROJECT MAY 17, 1973 Summary
- 1) The LPM familiarized TE with the AEC organization that would be participating in the complete review of the Davis-Besse OL application and described the review process in light of existing schedule milestones which TE had been mailed.
- 2) The LPM highlighted the outstanding issues which have resulted from generic concerns outside of the standard review proce.as on Davis-Besse. Such issues have been the subject of correspondence to the applicant during the post-CP stage. They are:
a) Review of Control Circuits b) Fue1, Densification
) High-Energy Line Rupture di Failure of Non-Catagory I Equipment
- 3) The EPM highlighted the outstanding steps remaining in the environmental review process.
- 4) The applicant reported that construction-wise the plant was 50%
complete and that fuel loading is still scheduled for December 1974.
- 5) The applicant is concerned about our ultimate position with regard to low pressure injection system cross connects external to the containment by manual means as a protective measure in the event of a floodline break.
- 6) The applicant would also like to know if the vessel internals prototype status of Oconee 1 is applicable to Davis-Besse,
