A routine, announced, safety inspection of your emergency preparedness program
was conducted by Mr. C. Amato of this office on October 6,1989 at the Nuclear
Science Center, Narragarsett, Rhode Island. Discussions of our findings were
held by Mr. Amato with your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I
inspection report whish is enclosed. Within these areas, the ir.specticn
consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative records,
