Safemuardo contir.auscy Plannina for Surf ace Vehicle Bombs Generic Letter 89-07, dated April 28, 1989, required power reactor licensees to modify their safeguards contingency procedures to address the possibility of a land vehicle bomb. Portland General "lectric Company (PGE) has completed a review of a land vehicle bomb *.nreat to the Trojan Nuclear Plant, utilizing the criteria specified % Generic Letter 89-07 and the methodo13gy provided in NUREC/CR-5246, "Metuodology to Assist in Contingency Planning for Protection of Nuclear Power Plants Against Land Vehicle Bombs". While no revision was necessary to the generic Safeguards contingency Plan contained in the Trojan Nuclear Plant Security Plan (PCE 1017), lower tier Security safeguards contingency procedures have been revised to address the response to a land vehicle bomb threat.
