Dear Sir:

The subject Bulletin Supplement informed licensees that based on a preliminary review of responses to NRC Bulletin No. 88-10. the NRC staff has determined that many responses do not adequately satisfy the provisions of the ,

Bulletin No. 88-10 and that some licensees may need to take additional actions. i The actions requested to be perfonned within 90 days from receipt of the  !

Bulletin Supplement are restated below followed by our response.

6 Action Requested

1. Review written reports submitted to the NRC in accordance with Bulletin No. 88-10 and verify that the responses meet the Bulletin provisions as i clarified by this supplement.  !

We have reviewed our written response to Bulletin No. 88-10 for Peach Bottom  !

Atomic Power Station. Units 2 and 3. submitted to the NRC on April 3, 1989, and have concluded that the response meets the Bulletin provisions as clarified by Supplement -

2. Prepare and retain documentation for possible audit that indicates that item 1 of the actions requested has been performed as requested.

The documentation regarding item 1 of the actions requested is being retained i and is available for audit purposes. l I

l Additionally, we have identified one molded-case circuit breaker (NCCB) that was  ;

not included in the original sample of MCCBs in warehouse storage for Peach Bottom i' Atomic Power Station, Units 2 and 3. TheCircuitBreakerManufacturer(CBM)forthis item is ITE and the supplier is Exide Power System Division. This MCCB has been i determined to be traceable to the CBM.
