Dear Congressman Petri:
r In response to your September 25, 1989 request for the ser-vices of Mr. R. Stephen Scott to assist in your efforts to i
improve Federal office environments, I am pleased to advise you that the Nucle 6r Regulatory Commission can make Mr. Scott available to you on an intermittent basis during the 101st Congress.
I agree that his participation in your project would provide an excellent opportunity for him to develop greater familiarity with the design, construction, and manage-ment of Federal buildings that could greatly benefit the Commission's project to construct a second building at our White Flint site.
Ms. Joyce Amenta, Director of our Office of Information Resources Management, will contact your staff to
}
discuss the detailed arrangements for Mr. Scott's participation.
I want to thank you for your kind remarks about my appointment i
l as Chairman of the Commission and to express my appreciation 1
for your support of our Two White Flint North project, which will complete our effort to consolidate the agency's head-quarters staff in a single location.
Sincerely, L
