,r AGM/NUC 89-137 As of September 25, 1989, the following items remain to be completed by the District:
PD0 88-0110 The corrective action associated with the Safety Factor (SF) issue will require calculations to be performed that analytically determine an SF for each Technical Specification effluent monitor. The calculations will account for cumulative errors associated with radiation and flow monitoring instrumentation.
The expected completion date for this item was changed to December 16. 1989 because the orginal completion date of December 16. 1988 was a typographical error in our original correspondence.
CCTS Number 881229021 Expected Completion Date:

QCP R88-0062 Design Change Package (DCP) R88-0062 and Hork Request 148245 correct the effluent flow rate instrument and flow anomalies described in PDQ 88-1586.
In accordance with an agreement reached with the NRC by telephone on July 11, 1989, completion of this item is being delayed until the effect of the repair of the fiume can be evaluated.
CCTS Number 881229024 Expected Completion Date:

CCTS Number 881229027 Expected Completion Date:
January 31, 1990 l
l NRC Ooen Item 50-312/88-30-05 Item 3 The surveillance procedures which are used to periodically calibrate the Technical Specification effluent radiation monitors implement the requirements l
stated in Regulatory Guide 4.15.
Chemistry procedure CAP-0009, Offsite i.
Releases of Radioactive Gaseous Effluent, provides for normalization of gaseous effluent radiation moritor data.
Procedure CHM 5108 for gaseous monitor correlation was issued April 28, 1989.
Chemistry is presently gathering data to determine whether a correlation with the liquid monitors is possible given the extremely low levels of activity in Rancho Seco liquid i
effluents.
The completion date is being extended to allow this data to be j
gathered and evaluated and procedures revised as required.
