evalbation of corsiercial grade components prior tosinsta11ation in safety-related applications, which resulted in use of several components unsuitable for their intended use. The base civil penalty was escalated 50% based on the duration of the violation and untimely corrective actions. However, because of the licensee's-general overall good past perforu.ance, a 100% mitigation factor was applied.
