(STS) and Bases for the Plant Systen.s chapter incorporating the staff comments.

Our review identified that extensive changes from the existing specifications were proposed and that these differences were not consistent among the proposed 00-S15.
In order to accommodate the agreed upon schedule and to achieve new STS that are acceptable to both irc;ustry and the NRC. the staff has taken the lead i
to produce the enclosed markup of the Plant Systems chapter of the STS. We trust i
that the Owners Groups will act promptly to achieve a consensus response to the enclosure and thus reduce the need for our integration in the future.
I We recuest that the Owners Groups coordinate with NUMARC to schedule a meeting with the FPC staff to discuss this chapter as soon as all the arrangenents are completed.
