This refers to your letter dated July 6,1989 requesting a refund of the $150 fee submitted with your March 31, 1989 request for a six-month extension of 6
Certificate of Compliance No. 9163.
Section 170.12(a) of 10 CFR Part 170, copy enclosed;s disposition of theprovides tha fees will be charged irrespective of the Commission application or a withdrawal.
If, however, the Commission receives an application accompanied by a fee and it is withdrawn prior to the staff f
connencing its review, the fee would be refunded. Since the Licensing staff reviewed.(and denied) your request for an extension, the fee is not refund-l able.
Similarly, the $150 fee paid for your June 8,1988 renewal request is not refundable since the Licensing staff reviewed the application and requested additional information, which has not been submitted.
