Reissuance of Emergency Plan Dear Sirs.
On September 7, 1989, the Philadelphia Electric Company (PECo) completely reissued
. R2 vision No.19 of the Limerick Generating Stati<>n (LGS), Units 1 and 2 Emergency Plan in a new two (2) volume set to all applicable orgsnizations.' No other changes to the Emergency Plan were made. Our intent for reissuing the Emergency Plan is to ensure that all copies'of the Plan are complete end in current revision.
On Septer!ber 12, 1989, the NRC acknowledged receipt of the new two volume Emergency
. Plan set package; however, an appropriate transmittal letter was not attached.
- Rather, the package was forwarded to the NRC by a PECo internal correspondence distribution meno along with an acknowledgement of receipt form. Therefore, we are providing this letter to clarify the intent of our transmittal, and request that the NRC destroy all previous o
copies of the LGS Emergency Plan and retain the new two volume set.
