SUBJECT:
CRGR MEETING NO. 171 The Comittee to Review Generic Requirements (CRGR) will meet in the afternoon on Wednesday, October 11, 1989, in Room 2F-17, OWFN. The agenda is as follows:
1:00-1:30 p.m.
R. W. Houston (RES) will present for CRGR review the proposed final Revision 3 to Reg. Guide 1.9, " Diesel Generator Reliability." (The review package is item #9 l
distributed to CRGR members on September 22,1989.)
2:30-3:30 p.m.
L. Shao (RES) will present for CRGR review proposed Revision 3 to Reg. Guide 1.35, " Inservice Inspection of Ungrouted Tendons in Prestressed Concrete Containments,"
and proposed Reg. Guide 1.35.1, " Determining Prestressing Forces for Inspection of Prestressed Concrete Contain-ments." (The review package is item #7 distributed to CRGR members on August 24,1989.)
3:30-5:00 p.m.
J. E. Richardson (NRR) will brief the Comittee on guidance (providedtolicenseesinpublicworkshops)tofacilitate implementation of Generic Letter 89-04 on Inservice Testing Programs.
(A package of background material is enclosed.)
If e CRGR member cannot attend the meeting, it is his responsibility to assure that an alternate, who is approved by the CRGR Chairman, attends the meeting.
Persons making presentations to the CRGR are responsible for (1) assuring that the information required for CRGR review is provided to the Comittee (CRGR Charter - IV.8), (2) coordinating and presenting views of other offices.
(3) as appropriate, assuring that other offices are represented during the presentation, and (4) assuring that agenda modifications are coordinated with the CRGR contact (J. Conran X29855) and others involved with the presentation.
I Division Directors or higher management should attend meetings addressing agenda items under their purview.
