Revisions to the following procedures were issued on 29 Mar 89 - and-approved by ballot of the Reactor Safeguards Committee:
Procedure No.1 - Biennial Control Rod Inspection.
The revision electrical (an)d racchanical components within the control rod d requires 1
inspection and replacement, as necessary, of all
~ examination of insulation for - deterioration, and examination of 4
movable parts for corrosion, dirt, or deterioration,. and (2) examination and replacement, as necessary, of control-rod drive switches at the reactor console.
Procedure No. 9 - Entrance to the Reactor Bay - Visitor Contr.ol.
The revision establishes a new mechanism of accountability for J.
