NRC Inspection This letter refers to the NRC inspection conducted by Mr. C. A. Hooker of this office on October 11 and 16, 1989, of activities authorized by NR0. license No.
SNM-696 and to the discussion of our findings held by Mr. Hooker with Mr. K.
F E. Asmussen and other members of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the enclosed inspection report. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures-and representative records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspector.
No violations of NRC requirements were identified within the scope of this inspection.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of this letter and the ent.losure will be placed in the NRC's Public Document Room.
