TRIGA REACTOR FACILITY OPERATOR REQUAllflCATION PROGRAM The staff of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has completed its review ar,d evaluation of the Reactor Operator Requalification Program for the Armed Forces Radiobiology Research Institute (AFRRI) TRIGA Reactor Facility that was submitted on June 5, 1989 as supplemented on September 21, 1989. The program was reviewed against the criteria in 10 CFR Part 55.
Based on its review, the staff concludes that the Reactor Operator Requalification f rogram for the AFRRI TRIGA Reactor Facility meets the requirements of the regulations and is, therefore, acceptable. We request that you begin to implement your approved program immediately.
