Dear Mr. Cowan:
This is to confirm a phone conversation which Trip Rothschild of my office had with you on Friday, April 18.
The Commission has reviewed Westinghouse's April 14, 1980 pleading entitled
" Opposition of Westinghouse Electric Corporation to Motion for a Stay Pending Appeal" and requests that Westinghouse provide the Commission with additional information.
Specifically, if the NRC were to issue license XR-120 to Westinghouse authoriz-ing the export of a reactor to the Republic of the Philippines, approximately how long after issuance would the following components be shipped:
(a) the pressure vessel; (b) the steam generator; (c) the control rods; and (d) the coolant pumps?
What items would Westinghouse contemplate exporting by air or sea within the first two months following issuance of the license?
The Commission would appreciate this information at the earliest possible date.
Your response should be served upon the partici-pants in the proceeding.
We appreciate 'your cooperation.
Sincerely,
.S Leonard Bickwit, Jr.
