Cowletion of the 741 for such reinor stunntities would be a hardship in tems of the paperwork processing needed.
In light of the above considerations, we are requesting exemption from the requirement to issue a 741 docueent for twturning e@ty UO2 powder cans as follows:
Hotwithstanding the requirerosnts of 10 CrR 70.54 which require cowletion and distribution of a Nuclear Ibterial Transactinn Report on Form NRC-741 for the transfer of Sim the licensee shall not be required to contplate and dirtribute this. report for the transfer of e-pty (internally contaminnted) 11 oxide powder cans to the U oxide powder supplie.r.
