In a teh.ptere conference on May 30, 1980 counsel fer Consumers Power Company and counsel for the NRC staff 1/

reques;:ed permission to suspend pending discovery matters-to provide time to develop additional information bearing upon the possibility of settlement or narrowing of issues.

The request is granted until further order.

On or before June 13, 1980 counsel for each party shall file a statement, jointly if possible, setting forth areas of agreement and areas where rulings are required.

The status, report due June 1, will not be required.
