Dear Mr. Denton:
DOCKET NUMBERS 50-483 50-486 UNION EL3CTRIC COMPANY CALLAWAY PLANT, UNITS 1 & 2 This letter is to provide a notification of certain recent functional changes in the Union Electric organizational structure and is being submitted for information.
The following organizational changes are presently in effect:
1)
Mr. R.
L. Powers, Supervising Engineer, Quality Assurance has been appointed to the newly created position of Superin-tendent, Site Quality Assurance and is responsible for assuring the implementa-tion of the Design & Construction and Operating Quality Assurance Programs at the Callaway Plant.
Under this reorgani-zation the Supervising Engineer, Quality Assurance (construction) and the Super-vising Engineer, Quality Assurance (operations), formerly the Callaway Plant-Quality Assurance Supervisor, report to the Superintendent, Site Quality Assurance.

Mr. J.
N. Kaelin, Cup:rci:ing 2nsiuuut, Startup has been appointed to the newly created position of Superintendent, Startup Callaway Plant.
In this position Mr. Kaelin reports to the Plant Superinten-dent, Callaway Plant through the Assistant Plant Superintendent, Callaway Plant and is responsible for directing the Union Electric Startup Program.

Denton June 4, 1980 Startup Program Mr. Kaelin will functionally report to the Manager, Nuclear Construction.

Mr. J. D. Schottal has been appointed to the newly created position of Quality Control Supervisor and in this capacity reports to the Superintendent, Engineering of the Callaway Plant organization.
Mr. Schottel is responsible for establish-ing and directing an inspection program to verify conformance of Callaway Plant quality activities with applicable require-ments.
This inspection is performed by qualified personnel who are independent of the group performing the activity.
Nondestructive examination personnel will report to the Quality Control Supervisor.
These changes will be incorporated in the first revision to our SNUPPS FSAR Callaway Addendum.
