Statement of Work Technology and Costs of Termination Surveys Associated With Decommissioning of Nuclear Facilities The technology and cost of conducting termination surveys at a number of different types of nuclear sites at three different levels of residual radioactivity will be evaluated. Major cost items include land survey ~ing, radiological surveying, soil sampling, laboratory analysis, data analysis and report preparation.
The anticipated sites requiring this evaluation include a representative reactor, a fuel reprocessing plant, an ura: sum conversion facility, a fuel fabrication plant, a spent fuel storage site, and a non-fuel cycle facility.
This project is to utilize and be based on the results of the earlier study,
" Monitoring for Compliance with Decommissioning Criteria," FIN B0224.
The reporting will consist of brief monthly progress reports and a detailed final report. A draft of the final report will be submitted to NRC for comments by December 1980 and the final report by February 1981.
