COMPLETION OF URANIUM RECOVERY LICENSING BRANCH REVIEW 0F PROPOSED MARTIN-TROST ORE UPGRADER PROJECT AT VIRN COUNTY, CALIFORNIA WMUR performed a technical review of the subject proposed Martin-Trost uranium ore upgrader project in California at the request of the State (letter K. Fess to :l. Miller of August 24,1980).

The WMUR staff reviewed the proposed application of Martin-Trost Associates and issued a letter report identifying areas needing additional information (letter from H. Miller to K. Fess of October 16,1979). WMUR involvement a
was to have continued but conversations between K. Fess and G. Wu on May 2,1980, ind.icated that the applicant has postponed indefinitely the project. This has resulted in termination of WMUR efforts' on' the case.
The case is considered complete as of May 1980.
