TRANSCRIPT OF MARCH 25, 1980 PUBLIC MEETING REGARDING MARBLE HILL The tran:cript was made from a tape recorder due to the failure of a court reporter to appear after arrangements had been made to use his-services.

Because the audibility of the tapes was complicated by background noises the-

.-anscript contains a few omissions and may.contain some inaccuracies.

Also, a portion could not be transcribed because a part of the meeting was inadvertently recorded on the same tape.

We believe, however, the transcript reflects the tone of the meeting and the concerns raised.

Greetings Mr. Stel io,

nh As you may recall, I was one of the speakers at the r.adison, In.

public eeeting. Speaking near the beginning of the publie question period, I inquired about your knowledge of problems relating to (possible) bad concrete in the very base of the reactor (s) and also I asked about the possible falsification of records by test personnel.

Inasmuch as you contended that I wasn't speaking to the main ite= of discussion for the evsning and because the results of an FBI investigation of the above-mentioned charges had not yet bcen made available to either the ARC or the public, I agreed to yield the floor.

You agreed to answer questions at a later date on this subject as stipulation of my yielding the floor.

a I have not yet received f rom any source any word of the outcome of the FBI inve stigation.

I should think it would he immediately a matter of public record and a would think that you would have a copy of it if anyone would.

In the spirit of our agreement, Mr. Stello, would you please send me a copy of what you have received 7 s.a t e r th a t eve ni ng, I briefly mentioned a compromise / alternative plan for the Rarble Hill facility.
