Dear Mr. Rawl:
By application dated January 7,1980, Westinghouse Electric Corporation requested that the package designs authorized by NRC Certificate of Compliance No. 5450 be issued an IAEA Certificate of Competent Authority as Type B(U) packages.
Based upon our review of the application, we have concluded that the packages (Model Nos. RCC, RCC-1, RCC-2, RCC-3, and RCC-4) authorized by NRC Certificate of Compliance No. 5450 meet the IAEA requirements for Type B(U) packages.
