Thank you for your letter of January 2, 1980, in response to our letter dated Nove=Ber 29, 1979, with an enclosure.

It is our understanding, as discussed during a telephone conversation on January 18, 1980, with Mr. O. I. Rove, that the wording in your " Corrective Action to Prevent Recurrence" response for Deviation E has been clarified.

It now states, "The procedure referenced (D50.4, Rev. 9) has been revised to provide for higher temperature raising and lowering for parts with thinner than 3" vall thickness." Please confirm our understanding of the clari-fication by return letter within ten days.
