Dear Mr. Fagan:
This is in response to your letter dated April 16, 1980, in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act (F0IA), a copy of the contract and nonproprietary sections of the cost and technical proposals pertaining to contract NRC-04-79-209 awarded to Essex Corporation.
(For your information, this is to advise that regulations which apply to your request are found at 10 C.F.R. Part 9, rather than D0D Directive 5400.7 to which you referred in your letter.)

1717 H Street, N.W., Washington, DC 20555. The contract and three modifications thereto, in their cr.tirety, (approximately 100-150 pages) have been placed in the PDR as a result of NRC's routine procedures for making certain materials publicly available.
In response to your request, the nonproprietary portions of the cost proposal (34 pages) are now being placed in the PDR.
You may obtain access to these documents by presenting a copy of this letter at the PDR or by requesting the NRC-04-79-209 contract and modifications thereto and folders F01A-79-455 and F01A-80-225.
The charge for reproducing records located in the PDR is eight cents ($0.08) per page, as specified in 10 C.F.R. 9.14(a).
Copies of these documents can be purchased by writing directly to the PDR.
Upon your agreement to pay the reproduction charges, the PDR will arrange for the records to, be reproduced by Potomac Research, Inc., a private reproduction contractor servicing the PDR.
You will be billed by Potomac Research, Inc., for the reproduction charges, plus tax and postage.
