c. O. Box 5039 Arlington, Texas 76012 Docket No. 50-267 R3ference:

80-02

Dear Mr. Madsen:

This letter is in response to the Notice of Violation received as &

result of inspections conducted at this facility during the period February 1, 1980 to February 29, 1980.

The numbering is the same as that used in the Notice of Violation.

1.

The data sheet used in SR 5.4.1.1.4 c-d, Linear Power Scram and RWP Calibration Surveillance test, has been revised to include a space for a daily recording of the test instrument used, rather than the weekly recording included proiiously.

This will ensure future adequate identification of test instrumentation. We are now in compliance.

2.

When revisions to a Surveillance Procedure are reotested the following process is used:

The records are checked to see if the current revision of that surveillance has been issued, then:

1.

If it has not, the revision is made to the procedure prior to its next issue.

2.

If ne procedure has been issued, and the revision it not essential to successful completion of the surveillance, the revision will not be approved and issued until the issued procedure has been completed.

3.

If the procedure has been issued and the revision is needed for successful completion of the surveil-lance, the issued procedure will be retrieved and the revised procedure issued.
