?

Interrogatory No. 1-19.

In TMIA's response to Interrogatory No. 1-17 of Licensee's First Set of Interrogatories, dated January 14, 1980, TMIA asserts with respect to gaseous radioactive releases that the radiation associated with the normal operation of Unit 1 and the radiation associated with the Unit 2 accident will have a greater total effect (i.e. a synergistic effect) on the health of TMIA members than the simple sum of the radiation associated with the normal operation of Unit 1 and the radiation associated with the Unit 2 accident.

a. Provide a full technical justification for TMIA's claim of synergistic effect.
b. -Provide full citations to all technical documents and publications (whether or not in TMIA's possession) which in TMIA's view support TMIA's claim of synergistic effect.

c. Identify by name, address and position any witness whom TMIA will call in support of its claim of synergistic effect.

Interrogatory No. 2-16.

In TMIA's response to Interrogatory No. 2-8 of Licensee's First Set of Interrogatories, dated January 14, 1980, TMIA asserts with respect to liquid radioactive releases to the Susquehanna River that the low-level discharges associated with the normal operation of Unit 1 and the alleged high-level discharges resulting from the Unit 2 accident will have a greater total effect (i.e. a synergistic effect) on tae water quality of the Susquehanna than the simple addition of the low-level discharges associated with the normal operation of Unit 1 to the alleged high-level discharges resulting from the Unit 2 accident.

a. Provide a full technical justification for TMIA's claim of synergistic effect.
b. Provide full citations to all technical documents and publications (whether or not in TMIA's possession) which in TMIA's view support TMIA's claim of synergistic effect.
c. Identify by name, address and position any witness whom TMIA will call in support of its claim of i

synergistic effect.
